Royal County Down has been confirmed as the host venue of the 2024 Horizon Irish Open.
European Ryder Cup stars Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and Tyrrell Hatton have already confirmed in the field alongside Pádraig Harrington, Tom McKibbin and Séamus Power.
The par 71 layout, which is currently ranked number one in the UK and Ireland’s top 100 golf courses and last hosted the tournament in 2015. In fact, it will be the fourth time Royal County Down will have played host to the Irish Open, after it was first opened in 1889.
